"Item Listed But Not Available"
The website showed a product that they actually didn’t have. Instead, they sent me the wrong item. When I reached out for a return, they claimed the site had the wrong size listed and said I’d get a return authorization and shipping label in 24 to 72 hours. After three attempts over three weeks, I still hadn’t received the RA or the label, despite being told each time it would just take another 24 to 72 hours. Seriously, don’t buy from these folks unless you’re okay with whatever shows up.

"Terrible Support Experience"
The customer service is just awful. They keep you waiting on hold for over 10 minutes. I tried to reach a supervisor several times, but these agents from India just won’t connect me. They keep saying they’ve already provided all the information I need, so there’s no point in talking to a supervisor. If I insist, they say they’ll transfer me, but then they want to know why I need to speak to one. I explain my situation, and they just repeat that they’ve given me everything I need. It’s beyond frustrating.

"Products are of poor quality and returns are a hassle."
It took nearly two weeks for delivery. The item was completely non-functional. Returning it feels like an uphill battle. They just brush you off with their return policy nonsense. Even if you stick to their guidelines, you get nowhere. Luckily, PayPal is gonna refund me completely. I STRONGLY SUGGEST PEOPLE STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

"Still no refund after two months of waiting."
I ordered a hole saw back in April 2022, and it showed up around the 30th. Thankfully, I didn’t end up needing it, which was a relief since it cost nearly $200. I tried to return it, but the website said I had to reach out to them to kick off the refund process and get the shipping details. I contacted them several times before I finally got a response. I paid to send it back and tracked it to confirm it was delivered. Yet, no refund came my way. I called them again, providing the tracking number that showed it was received. They kept telling me to hang tight for a few business days, promising I’d get a confirmation and my money back, but nothing happened. I called again today, July 5, and they said they spoke with the manufacturer, who claimed it was sent to a different warehouse. They said they needed to verify it was received before processing my refund and, once more, told me to wait a few more business days. It’s been over two months since I initiated this return, and I’m not feeling optimistic about getting my money back. Just a heads up to other buyers. After a lot of phone calls over two months, I finally got my refund.

I placed an order for a Profi belt sander on toolsidee.uk for 141 pounds, only to find out that when DPD delivered it, I had to cough up an additional 34 pounds in import duty. There was zero notice that I’d need to pay this extra fee for the order.

"My Experience as a Buyer"
As a buyer, I reached out to them for samples of two products they offer, hoping to buy in bulk—specifically, 100 pieces each.

Turns out, they only had 10 pieces of each available.

Worried about getting more, I followed up with them. They assured me that additional stock could be ordered and promised to get back to me in a few days with an update on when they’d have more available.

So, I went ahead and ordered everything they had on hand that day—20 pieces in total, 10 of each style.

They processed my payment, but a week later, still no products! Today, I received an email stating that the 20 items I ordered were actually out of stock, and they asked if I wanted to wait until June for them to be restocked.

Back in my day, we called that a "Bait & Switch"—you see something you want, and then they send you off with something lesser, all shiny and new in the box!

What should we call this new tactic?

"A Heads Up"
A heads up, folks, steer clear of this company. My product showed up in the UK with an extra customs fee that I had to cough up before getting my item. They won’t respond to emails, and their customer service is just awful. Honestly, it’s the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. Don’t be fooled by the low initial price; there are hidden costs, and good luck trying to get a refund!

Meanwhile, folks keep raving about how simple it is to place an order. The translations in the product descriptions are enough to make you cringe. Honestly, it's probably smarter to get what you need from more trustworthy vendors, seek out different options, or just skip it altogether. Overall, this shop feels a bit sketchy.

"Ordered a snow shovel on 1/26 and faced issues..."
I placed an order for a snow shovel on January 26 and got an email about the estimated shipping date, which was set for January 31. I asked to cancel the order within 12 hours of making the payment. I got a response confirming the cancellation. Then, on January 31, I received another email with a tracking number, but there’s been no movement for 10 days—just a label created. It’s been two weeks with no refund, and customer service keeps saying they need to check with the manufacturer to find out if the item was actually shipped. They’ve taken over 100 bucks from me.

"A GAME OF CHANCE"
I recently placed an order with Toolsidee on 31/12/21, but the goods never showed up. When I reached out to DPD (UK), the delivery service, they told me that the item didn’t clear customs in Holland and was sent back to Toolsidee. Trying to get in touch with them has been a total dead end; it feels like I'm just shouting into the void.

After checking out a bunch of other reviews, I noticed a lot of folks are giving bad ratings and throwing around the term scam quite a bit. Honestly, I’d go as far as to call it theft. From what I gather, about two-thirds of customers are satisfied and get what they ordered. But for the unlucky third, things go south, and good luck getting any sort of help or compensation.

SO, LISTEN UP FUTURE BUYERS, IT'S A GAME OF CHANCE. YOU'VE GOT A 1 IN 3 SHOT THAT YOU'RE NOT JUST BUYING SOMETHING BUT ACTUALLY GIVING TO A DUTCH COMPANY.

"My Experience with Nitrile Gloves Order"
I ordered some nitrile gloves, and the site said my order would ship within 24 hours, with delivery expected between September 17-23. But after I completed my purchase, a COVID message popped up, saying my order would be delayed by an extra 3-5 days. What a joke! I called customer service, and the person I spoke to, Ruth, offered me a $25 gift card like that’s gonna help me protect myself from chemicals. Instead of fixing my problem, she just went on about how she’s been there for a decade. I’m never ordering from them again. Ruth, you can take that and shove it! But then Mila Parnell, a real pro from the client department at ToolID, stepped in and sorted everything out. She got my order shipped, and I received it the very next day. I’m updating my review to be fair, adding two stars for the great service I got from Mila. Thanks a ton, Mila Parnell! Keep doing what you do and make the company shine.
